To brighten up walkers day! We all take walks...or car rides, and with everyone staying at home...what better way to brighten up someone else's day by putting a lil stuff animal or drawing by the window!
Cameras On Act
November 2020
The day before fall break we wanted to surprise teachers with our cameras on! We had this advertised to the entire school!! It takes a lot of bravery to do something you're not used to doing so we applaud those that did turn on their cameras!
Cookies Act

Our digital version of the cookies act! We still wanted to spread some joy during finals so Irene created a website that would autogenerate messages for everyone. There are also a few hidden features on the website if you look close enough! ;)
Notes Act 2.0

A repeat of what we did over the summer! We wanted to give a lil something to hospital workers for the holidays as a way to thank them for...everything during this year. We sent our notes to UCSF.

Essential Worker Notes: Medical Professionals

Partnering up with MAFCA, we wrote many letters and created many crafts to send to medical workers. We also accompanied these letters with granola bars! Medical professionals is just our way of saying someone working in a hospital environment. Especially in a time like...then? anyone working in a hospital environment are needed and important.

We had more acts revolving around writing notes to essential workers. Like to grocery store workers and the postal workers. Postal workers... we meant delivery workers but postal workers sounded nicer.
Senior Pen Pals

During a pandemic, seniors can't as easily go out like before. So to fill their time and ours, we workers with On Lok 30th Street Senior Care Center to match some Lowell students with a senior!

SAT/ACT Care Packages
technically still ongoing...
Every year, almost every month there is a SAT or ACT. To wish the students good luck and to provide students with materials, they might not have or might not be able to get, ARK created these packages. We have received funding from the PTSA for this act and are ever so grateful.

3000 COOKIES!!!!!!! We baked cookies for ever single student at school to...cheer them up from the dread of finals week. There were even enough cookies for most, if not all, of the staff too! ;)
